Sammers' Vet Fund
Our sweet Sammers bit off more than he could chew when he went on the run during a transport from Iowa to Calgary and ended his 9 days in the wild by being hit by a freight train. Calgary Basset Rescue General Fund
It costs money for us to get our charges ready for their forever homes; our biggest expense by far is our vet fees, but we also occassionally incur other costs with needing to supply crates for fosters, or buy grooming supplies to help our pooches get ready to make a good impression on prospective adopters. We rely 100% on fundraisers like the waddle and the generosity of the basset community to keep us afloat and we'd like to thank the following people for their financial support of our rescue:
