Basset Rescue Edmonton
bassetrescueedmonton.webs.com/
The Edmonton branch of Basset Rescue Network Canada is run by Cherlyn, and we spend a lot of time chatting backwards and forwards to find loving forever homes for our charges. Sometimes we have the perfect hound for a northeren Alberta family and vice versa, so we make sure to keep each other up to date with what's going on.

Basset Hound Rescue of Montana
www.bassetrescueofmontana.org/
Several of our volunteers here in Calgary are huge supporters of Basset Hound Rescue Montana, and its wonderful fearless leader, Leslie Ames. Leslie has provided at least 3 of us with one or more of our own beloved fur-babies, and is incredible kind in letting us post the hounds we have available for adoption on her own website and PetFinder link. Leslie does fantastic work and is truly a basset angel.

Basset Hound Rescue Quebec

BHRQ is run by another basset angel - the wonderful Helen (a.k.a. Nutmeg). BHRQ is a relitively new recue in Canada, but has already made such a huge difference to so many lives (both hound and human). Check out the BHRQ blog to keep up to date with the often funny, but sometimes sad goings on there.

World Basset Races
www.inspiredgardens.ca
Run by Gwen and her business Inspired Market Gardens in Edmonton to raise funds for Canadian Basset Rescue, the Races are a fun way to have your hounds run off some steam while helping other less fortunate pooches. 2 of our Alumni, Gertie & Harvey, are the resident greeters at Inspired Gardens where they help out with PR, clean-up of discarded snacks, and campaign actively for siestas for all staff.
